Anchor links provide a better user experience for your visitors.

• Good to place an anchor link in the footer to jump to the top of the website
• Anchor links are good if you have a table of contents to jump to the right section.

Anchor links do not provide any additional SEO benefit compared to normal links. 

• Do not substitute internal links with anchor links

Setting up anchor links is very easy

1. Name an element an ID 
   • Eg: footer for the footer
2. In the URL reference the ID with the #footer
